Support for Solaris

Ishmail is built and tested on Solaris 2.5.1.

Though Ishmail uses OSF Motif graphics libraries, it still works with OpenWindows. Two sets of fonts are supplied, for both Motif and OpenWindows, and you will have a choice of which to use by default.

Since the Motif "cut and paste" function is not compatible with the one in OpenWindows, you won't be able to use this function between Ishmail and other windows.

Two types of packages are provided, a tar archive and a package which can be installed using the pkgadd command. Select here for more information on package types.
